HARx03 Start / Finish
Leave Hartington Station by the road entrance, turning right uphill toward the A515 and take the walled green lane on the left. This crosses the A515 to the High Peak trail.

Turn right on the High Peak trail.

Bridleway
Pass Friden station and another small parking area at a minor road.

Continue along the track and after a long curved embankment you reach a disused quarry.

Pass the quarry and turn right on the walled green lane crossing the High Peak trail.

Keep on this walled lane and cross a minor road.

The walled green lane climbs a hill with a small wood on the horizon. Don`t take the lane to the left at this point but continue straight ahead through a gate and across the turf of the field.

At the end of this field the walled green lane continues down to the A515.

Road
Cross straight over towards Biggin.

You will see Tissington Trail crossing Biggin Road over a bridge. There is an access gate back onto the trail, turn right to return to Hartington.
